The home of the late, iconic author Samuel Clemens (aka Mark Twain) has been named one of the “10 Best Historic Homes” in the world in National Geographic’ s new book, ” The 10 Best of Everything: A Guide for Travelers.”
Twain’s Victorian Gothic Revival style mansion was chosen for the list that also includes Monet’s Giverny in France, Yasnaya in Russia, the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, Blenheim in England and Mount Vernon in Virginia.
The book also includes top 10 lists for topics ranging from ”10 Best Islands” to “10 Best things To Do On Sundays” in the world’s best cities.
